The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is developing a roadmap for improving public transportation in the region over the next 20 years. The planning process will wrap up at the end of 2017 and will include many opportunities throughout the year for community members to learn about the plan and make their voices heard.

To learn more about how we developed the recommendations for this plan, watch this video or review this document that provides an overview of how we calculated demand for public transportation in the region.

Previous presentations to the City's Feb 22 Transportation and Airport Committee and the May 16 Advisory Committee are also available for information.

Tell Us What You Think

We want your input. Tell us what you think about the Draft Plan above by emailing your comments to StrategicPlan@norta.com

Hurry! The last day to provide online comment is November 27.

We hosted two open house style meetings in mid-November, focused on the Draft Plan. If you didn't attend one of these meetings or thought of something afterwards, this is your opportunity to make your voice heard!

What We've Heard

After each round of public outreach we will post a What We Heard summary. This information is being used to develop the draft plan.
