St. Charles Streetcar Line Downtown Loop Pavement Replacement Project

Phase 3

Starting April 14, crews will begin repaving St. Charles Avenue and part of Carondelet Street, between Poydras Street and Canal Street.

During this time, St. Charles streetcars will begin and end their trips at Erato Street. To help you get where you’re going, RTA buses will connect passengers between Erato Street and Canal Street. The bus route will be slightly different from the standard streetcar route, and a few stops will be skipped. See map below for details.
