New Orleans RTA Weather Advisory for Mardi Gras Day 2025

NEW ORLEANS – Due to anticipated high winds, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) advises riders to prepare for potential service disruptions and route modifications tomorrow.
Sustained winds of 21-22 mph with gusts up to 25-26 mph are forecasted for Mardi Gras Day, March 4, 2025. RTA anticipates the following service changes for tomorrow beginning at 4pm:
Ferry Service and Streetcar Service may experience service disruptions
Bus (fixed routes) expect detours and disruptions depending on driving conditions, especially on routes that involve bridge crossings. Impacted routes will include: Garden Oaks (114 A/B), General Meyer (103), Lake Forest (61), and Morrison (62).

Stay weather aware and plan for possible service changes.
