RTA Hurricane Zeta Transit Service Updates

(New Orleans) – The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority continues to restore transit service in the aftermath of Hurricane Zeta. Additional transit services may come online as power is restored and roadways are cleared.
Please note that evening transit service may be suspended early on transit lines if power to traffic signals and lights are not restored. Commuters and riders are encouraged to call the Rideline at 504-248-3900 for up-to-date information and point-to-point travel assistance or download RTA GoMobile from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
BUS
Bus service is restored along the following routes, operating hourly.
The 114 – General DeGaulle-Sullen and 115 - General DeGaulle-Tullis are operating on General DeGaulle only.
The following routes will not operate at this time due to unsafe road conditions:

Due to continued power outages throughout the city, overnight bus service may be discontinued for the safety of our riders and frontline staff.
STREETCAR
- Streetcar service has been restored along the12 – St. Charles Streetcar, 47 - Canal-Cemeteries-Loyola Streetcar Line and the 48 - Canal-City Park Streetcar Line. Service is running every 30 minutes.
- The 2 – Riverfront Streetcar line remains out of service. Riders can access the Riverfront by the 5 – Marigny/Bywater and 55 – Elysian Fields.
FERRY
Both the Algiers Point-Canal Street ferry and the Lower Algiers-Chalmette ferry are operating.
PARATRANSIT
RTA Paratransit services are operational. Clients should call (504) 827-7433, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays.
