Staff Working Remotely Due to Invest 93L
NEW ORLEANS – In response to the anticipated impacts of Invest 93L, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will close its ID and ADA Certification Center on Thursday, July 17. RTA administrative staff will continue working remotely to support operations and rider needs. While the ID and ADA center is closed, the Rideline will remain open to assist customers with transit information and real-time service updates.
RTA is actively monitoring the weather system, which is expected to bring heavy rain and potential street flooding across the region. The agency is prepared to adjust transit service as needed in response to roadway conditions. Riders should anticipate possible delays or detours starting Thursday July 17th.
Real-time service updates will be communicated through the Rideline, Le Pass app, www.norta.com, and in person by field operations supervisors. Customers are encouraged to stay weather-aware and check these platforms regularly for the latest alerts.
For broader emergency updates and information, residents are also encouraged to text “NOLAREADY” to 77295 to receive updates.
