The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority will resume streetcar service along the Canal Streetcar route to Union Passenger Terminal (UPT) on Friday, April 16. The 47 – Canal-Cemeteries and the 48 – Canal-City Park will each now terminate at UPT with a 32-minute frequency. The routes were previously cut back due to the Hard Rock Hotel collapse in October 2019.
