RTA to Plan for Temporary Power Shutdown on Saturday
- October 16th, 2024
NEW ORLEANS – On Saturday, Oct. 19, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will conduct routine maintenance at the A. Philip Randolph Operations Building, which will result in temporary power outages. This may affect some customer services, including the Rideline and Le Pass mobile app, from morning through late afternoon. However, all bus, streetcar, and ferry services will continue to operate as scheduled.
We anticipate that all affected customer services will be restored by Saturday evening, and we will provide updates as necessary.
Additionally, riders are reminded that on Saturday, Oct. 19, and Saturday, Oct. 26, RTA will offer free rides on buses, streetcars, and ferries as part of the “Roll to the Polls” campaign. Free rides will also be available on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.
