RTA to Plan for Temporary Power Shutdown on Saturday
- October 16th, 2024
NEW ORLEANS – On Saturday, Oct. 19, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will conduct routine maintenance that will include temporary power outages at the A. Philip Randolph Operations Building. This could impact some customer services, including Rideline and the Le Pass mobile app, between morning and late afternoon. Riders should prepare for potential service disruptions or delays during the outage. Despite this, all bus, streetcar, and ferry operations will run as scheduled.
Riders also are reminded that on Saturday, Oct. 19, and Saturday, Oct. 26, the RTA will offer free rides on buses, streetcars, and ferries as part of the agency’s “Roll to the Polls” campaign. RTA also will offer free rides on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Customer services should return by Saturday evening, and updates will be provided.
