RTA’s summer 2024 transit schedule is set for May 19, including the return to service of the 46-Rampart-Loyola Streetcar line

NEW ORLEANS – On Sunday, May 19, 2024, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will implement its summer 2024 transit schedule. While fixed-route bus service will have slight timetable adjustments, rail service will include the return of the 46-Rampart-Loyola Streetcar line, which has been offline since the Hard Rock Hotel collapse in October 2019.
The routes listed below will have timetable adjustments:
- #9 - Broad - Napoleon
- #51/52/53 - St. Bernard
- #202 - Airport Express
The routes listed below will have map adjustments:
- #31/32 - Leonidas
- #114A/114B - Garden Oaks
- #86 - St. Maurice - Chalmette
- #105 - Algiers Local
The route below will have a detour in effect:
- 66 - Hayne Loop
Updated schedules and other printed materials are being distributed to popular pick-up locations across the city, including New Orleans Public Library locations, New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC) facilities, and RTA’s A. Philip Randolph Building on Canal Street as well as at our hubs at the East New Orleans Regional Library and the Wilty Terminal in Gretna.
