Ride the ferry straight to Gretna Fest!
Gretna Fest Special Ferry Service
RTA is providing ferry service connecting downtown New Orleans to the Gretna Fest this weekend – Friday, Oct. 4 through Sunday, Oct. 6. Ferries will depart from the Canal Street Terminal, offering a convenient and scenic transportation option for festival goers. This service is made possible by the City of Gretna by assuming all costs related to Gretna Fest Ferry Service.
Schedule
Ferry service will operate throughout the three-day festival, leaving approximately every hour and returning 30 minutes after the festival ends.
| Friday, Oct. 4: 4 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. |
| Saturday, Oct. 5: 11 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. |
| Sunday, Oct. 6: 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. |
| Departing from Canal Street Terminal, ferries will leave at the top of the hour (e.g. 11:00 a.m., noon, 1:00 p.m., etc.) |
| Departing from Gretna Fest, ferries will leave at the bottom the hour (e.g. 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., etc.) |
