The following routes will detour. Detours will be in effect until the parade route is cleared. Detours begin at 8 am
| 12-St Charles Streetcar service will end at Erato. |
| 47/48-Canal Streetcar service will end at N. Liberty. |
| 11-Magazine will detour to reach the main library and miss stops between Calliope and Canal. |
| 80-Desire/Louisa service will end at St Claude and Elysian Fields. |
